Plan for about a quarter inch (roughly 6 mm) of hair, typically two to three weeks of growth. If hair is too short waxing won't grip; if very long, your technician may trim for comfort and better results.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on initial appointments, but sensations vary widely. Our technicians use soothing products, technique, and breathing guidance to minimize pain. Numbing creams can be discussed, and discomfort typically decreases with regular waxing.

Exfoliate gently two to three days before to remove dead skin, avoid sunbathing and self-tanning for at least 48 hours, and skip strong retinoids or chemical peels a week prior. Arrive clean and avoid heavy lotions on the day.
