Most clients feel a quick sting during removal, followed by mild tenderness for a few minutes to a day. We use soothing oils and offer pre-wax numbing on request. Aftercare reduces irritation; many report minimal discomfort overall.

Avoid trimming or shaving for about three weeks so hair reaches roughly 6 mm (one-quarter inch). Wax needs enough length to grip. Afterward, schedule maintenance every 4–6 weeks depending on your regrowth.

We cannot wax over active infections or inflamed tissue; wait until healed. For piercings, we can wax around jewelry if healed and not irritated, but we prefer removing jewelry for safety. Always disclose piercings and medical issues before service.

Avoid hot showers, swimming, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours to reduce irritation. Apply a light soothing oil or aloe as directed, keep the area clean, and avoid picking. Contact us if excessive redness, swelling, or pain occurs.

Appointments are quick, usually 10–20 minutes including consultation and aftercare. Simple ear waxing can be completed in about 10 minutes; allow extra time for multiple areas, numbing requests, or extended consultations.

Yes—sensitive skin, dermatitis, or wax ingredient allergies can increase irritation or reactions. Tell us about allergies and medications. We perform skin assessments and patch tests when needed, and we offer hypoallergenic waxes or alternative hair removal options.
