Get answers to common questions about Full Leg Waxing.
Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. For best results, hair should be about ¼ inch long at appointment. Regular waxing can extend intervals and soften regrowth, making future sessions easier.
Sensitivity varies; most clients describe quick stinging rather than prolonged pain. Minimize discomfort by exfoliating beforehand, avoiding caffeine, taking over-the-counter pain relief if needed, and communicating with your technician who uses gentle techniques.
Ensure hair is roughly ¼ inch long, exfoliate a day or two before, avoid heavy moisturizers or oils on the day, and skip tanning or retinoids for a week. Inform your technician about medications or skin sensitivities.
Avoid shaving between scheduled waxes, as it interrupts the wax cycle. If necessary, trim very short hairs with scissors to maintain appearance, but allow regrowth to reach about ¼ inch before your appointment for effective removal.
Certain conditions like open wounds, active sunburn, severe varicose veins, recent laser treatments, or use of blood-thinning medications and topical retinoids may contraindicate waxing. Always disclose medical history so we can assess and advise alternatives.
Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours to limit sweating and friction that can irritate freshly waxed skin. Also skip hot baths, saunas, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours and follow post-care to prevent ingrown hairs.
