Get answers to common questions about Underarm Waxing.

Most clients enjoy three to six weeks of smooth underarms after a wax. Individual growth rates vary with hormones and hair type. Regular appointments can lengthen intervals between sessions and often produce finer regrowth over time.

Yes. With consistent Underarm Waxing, hair commonly becomes finer and sparser as follicles weaken. Results depend on genetics and hormones, but routine waxing every 3–6 weeks often leads to reduced density and slower regrowth.

Some discomfort is normal, but waxing is quick and brief. Our technicians use precise technique and calming pressure to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine beforehand, breathe through the pull, and ask about topical numbing if you are very sensitive.

Arrive with clean, dry underarms free of deodorant or lotion and with hair about a quarter-inch long. Avoid heavy sun exposure beforehand and inform us of medications or skin treatments that might affect waxing safety.

For 24–48 hours avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise and fragranced products. Use a soothing, alcohol-free lotion or aloe, skip deodorant if irritated, and gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Most people can wax, but avoid waxing over sunburn, open wounds, active acne or certain skin conditions. Tell us about recent retinoid use, medications, pregnancy or blood thinners. We’ll recommend patch tests or alternatives if needed.
